The English
Speaking Union is an independent, non-political, educational
charity throughout the UK, the USA and 58 other countries as
shown below. It is devoted to the promotion of understanding
and friendship in the modern world where countries and people
become steadily more interdependent and have a part to play.
The English
Speaking Union exists for this purpose with a world-wide
membership in such countries as : Argentina, Armenia,
Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bermuda, Bhutan,
Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hong
Kong, Hungary, India, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon,
Lithuania, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova,
Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, the Netherlands, New Zealand,
